Wiz Khalifa praised President for his steps to end the criminalization of marijuana possession and use.
The 35-year-old rapper talked to about the 79-year-old president’s marijuana reform measures which he announced earlier in the week.
‘It’s awesome to see things are moving in the right direction,’ Wiz Khalifa said. ‘Cannabis laws have negatively impacted people for way too long.’

Earlier this week, Joe Biden released a video where he announced three major changes to federal marijuana criminalization.

Pardon: First, the president announced a federal pardon for all people convicted of simple marijuana possession
Finally, Biden announced that he would ask the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, and the Attorney General, Merrick Garland, to initiate a process reclassifying marijuana from a Schedule I substance.
Schedule I substances are ‘drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse,’ according to the . Heroin, ecstasy and LSD are all examples of Schedule I substances.
Khalifa is a well-known user of marijuana and he has his own brand of weed products.
