‘My kids will speak English and Spanish’: Pregnant Zoe Saldana reveals her hopes for a bilingual family and her key to a good relationship
She is rumoured to be expecting twins with husband Marco Perego.
But one thing is for sure; Zoe Saldana wants a multilingual brood. The actress – who is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent – opened up to for big ass it’s September issue and dazzled in an ultra glam photoshoot showing-off her growing baby bump.
The Avatar star said: ‘Of course [our children] will speak the languages that we speak; my sisters and I grew up learning French and speaking English and Spanish.

‘And because of that, we’re able to understand Italian and Portuguese. But I’m going to have to make a conscious effort to speak Spanish to my children, because I speak Spanglish.’
Zoe, 36, graces the cover of the women’s mag in a Julien MacDonald dress and is also seen in a floor length strapless white gown in an inside shot.
The stretchy fabric hugs her curves revealing the outline of her growing belly as she poses with hands on hips in the fishtail garment.

Of being Latina, Zoe revealed: ‘It’s one of the biggest factors about me: the fire, the passion, the ‘in your face’ quality.
The brunette beauty is seen with a half-up ‘do, her hair dramatically back-combed to add volume at the crown.

In another fierce image she wears a metallic mini-dress with sheer paneling and stands in towering silver stilettos.
And it’s clear the mother-to-be feels more self-confident than ever, explaining: ‘At 35, you make better choices in men or partners, divorce people and situations that are not right for you, and learn to say ‘no’ with a smile.’
Zoe was engaged to actor and businessman Keith Britton in 2010 but their relationship came to an end after 11 years together.
She also enjoyed a romance with Bradley Cooper before meeting and marrying Italian artist Marco in June 2013.
Opening up about what she finds attractive in a man, Zoe revealed: ‘A man who has a natural respect for women – I don’t want a man who worships me: Stay away from those.
‘Worshipping doesn’t count as really seeing me. I like men who work with women, are challenged by women, learn from women.’
And the sexy señorita knows the secret to keeping the spark alive in relationships, she said: ‘To be uninhibited. I’m not talking about bringing in a third person or watching porn all night: That’s what leads people to believe they are amazing in bed when they’re the worst ever.
‘Pornography is not sex education – it’s the opposite! Don’t allow insecurities to close you off. Be creative.’

Zoe Saldana is the cover girl for this month's Cosmopolitan Latinas and what a great model she makes.
The actress, who is pregnant and on promotional duties for her latest film, Guardians of the Galaxy at the moment, looks stunning on the pages of the glossy magazine but it's her cover look that really got our fashion pulses racing.
After all, it's a rather racy number and is from Julien Macdonald's AW14 collection. The shimmering open knit is a signature element of the Welsh designer's dresses and they're recognisable almost immediately. And while you couldn't wear them down the supermarket, Macdonald's creations are perfect red carpet (and magazine cover) fayre.
