A hard-working Melbourne dad found out he was the sole winner of a $20million lotto jackpot after finishing his night shift.
The dad was the only division one winner in Oz Lotto draw 1530, drawn on Tuesday.
‘I’m still shaking,’ he told official from The Lott who confirmed his newfound fortune.
‘I found out at 3am this morning after my shift.I discovered it when I went to purchase a ticket into Powerball’s $60million draw for tomorrow night. It was such a shock.
‘I don’t really need to worry about tomorrow night’s draw anymore, I’ve got $20million!’
The father said he’s been regularly buying lottery tickets after night shifts for more than 10 years.
‘I always buy an Oz Lotto and Powerball ticket after my early morning shift.It’s a little treat to myself. I’ve been playing for read more than a decade.
‘I’ve got my whole family gathered around the phone right now. My wife is happy, my daughter is very happy. It’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.’

The winning man’s daughter was bursting with excitement on the phone and shared a few words about her father.
‘My dad is really hard working.He deserves the world,’ she said.
‘He’s never received anything in his life.
‘We’re so happy for him.’
With $20million set to land into his bank account before the end of the financial year, he revealed his plans.
‘Most importantly, I’ll help my family.I’ll share it around,’ he shared.
‘I’ve got some loans to pay off. Starting with my house mortgage.
‘You’ve brightened my day!’
His winning nine game QuickPick entry was purchased at BP Prahran.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1530 on Tuesday 13 June 2023 were 5, 35, 37, 14, 21, 12 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 46, 47 and 17.
